…however, we had a vision of creating a place where local youth can hang out and be ministered to, so we went to the city. We encouraged them to build our community a skate park. With the city agreeing to build it, we agreed to host events and treat it as our own. The 5,000 square-foot street style skatepark opened in April of 2023 in Campbell Park of Lampasas. It features a 14″ tall flat rail, banked hip, six stair hubba & step up, handrail, bank to curb, bump to bump, manual pad and ledge combo, and quarter pipe hip. It attracts skaters of all skillsets and has quickly become a cherished community hub and a place for WEOut to minister to teens!!
